"God is dead." There is no god.

"I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree... ...And I will have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow." I think I'm dying Like watching mushroom clouds form on the horizon I'm pretty sure I'm dying Everything fades after flashing before me I can't come up with an end to my story You can take it to the bank, I take it to the grave with me Carrying the weight of a thousand years of misery Nothing that I do can bring it all back again and try as I might, it's a battle I'll never win You can see it in my eyes, I see it in my reflection My body's not a temple, it's more like a mausoleum There's a place that I'm not allowed to be a paradise I saw in a vision of Innisfree Take me back to there, take me back to my home Address me by my name so I don't have to die unknown. But no Valhalla, no loved ones awaiting me I lived a life of introversion Singing into the breeze You can echo words I say, you can repeat my ways but no one's gonna miss you if you have my face

Drugs 07:00
"On average, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose." Once again it's on your breath I'll hide your cigarettes Our shadows stab our backs Our hearts just cause attacks Far away from misery Only when I cannot see You take one more for the team All for one is all you need e v e r y o n e h e r e i s g o n e Falling off a cliff would be easier than trying to leave Desolated ashes give the only life you have to live e v e r y o n e h e r e i s o n s o m e t h i n g s t r o n g y o u c o m e u n d o n e "I need all I can get, and I don't have it yet." e v e r y o n e h e r e i s g o n e s o m e t h i n g ' s w r o n g y o u c o m e u n d o n e

"Every time you die, your friends forget you a little more." How can someone dream when they're never even sleeping? Staring out the window, staring at the ceiling. I hope that you'd still want me. I hope that you'd come haunt me And the longer that I stay makes it harder just to say There's things we've got inside us There's things that reunite us So don't look past my shoulder when I hold you even closer How can someone dream when they're never even sleeping? Staring out the window, staring at the ceiling

Hydroplane 04:48
"We regret to inform you." Even though it was pissing down all night Even though I was missing you all right Even though you were gonna let me go Up the road, the river flowed Even then, there were signs that you were gone You even left me with a loaded gun Even at a hundred thousand feet At top speed, burned gasoline I see stars on the road. In spite of you, I never slowed. Hit the gas, accelerated Like your hatred for me. Even though I was sleeping on your floor Even when they came knocking at your door Even then, you wouldn't feel a thing They couldn't bring you suffering. I'm traveling on a guilt trip I never felt the tires slip. I never took my eyes off the ball But on the last stretch I lost contro-...!

"45 33 13 15 42 44 11 24 33 44 54" There's robots among us And they're steel solid folk They don't even shake When their foundations break They're tired of changes But what seems so strange is They're not even sure When these changes occur Sometimes I feel Like I'm the one that's not real It's a thought I can't shake That my emotions are fake Synthesized feelings Robotic beings With cold iron lungs and mechanical thumbs Am I just an android? The last and the first one? Alone in the world? The only real person? Will God someday greet me? Will people just eat me alive? But I feel... I might not be real...

Understanding Your Album:
Hello. If you've found yourself here, chances are you're listening to ᴛʜᴇ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋꜰᴀsᴛ ᴍᴇɴᴜ's album, "ɔısnW pɹɐʇsɐq pɐS" right now!
Congratulations!

Painstaking efforts to create a flavor (Greetings, fellow synesthesiacs!) that accurately matches the emotion attempted to be conveyed in each track were made via the choices in both sound, and artwork, too!
With any luck, success has been made to relate with and unite many a sad bastard.

Remember; You owe an explanation to nobody. We're all sad bastards here.
Well, mostly. But we'll come back to that in just a minute...

The stigmas of mental health seem unending, don't they? Regardless of whether or not you suffer from a mental illness, or you're simply feeling bummed out by some less than desirable weather, bottling up your emotive tendencies is doing you no favors.
A sonic landscape to lose oneself within is just what the doctor ordered!
We hope we can fill that prescription for you.

This album uses seamless transitions from song to song. For the best results, please refrain from shuffling.

Some listeners may wonder, why? Why celebrate the unfortunate? Why decorate the airwaves with jazz of such pity?
If you find yourself asking this, or any similarly phrased inquiries, you may be suffering from a form of happiness called "contentedness."
A primary symptom of this condition is confusion regarding the empathetic relations of those who have been discouraged of their own life-affirming satisfaction.
If a proper diagnosis has been achieved, this self-acknowledged pretentious collection of hapless melodies may not be right for you.

For more information, please refer to the "about" section of each track.
